Record Keeping:
Operators should maintain records that indicate the quantity of manure produced and how the manure was utilized, including where, when, and the amount of nutrients applied. Soil and manure testing should be incorporated into the record keeping system. Records should be kept when the manure leaves the operation.

   Starting with a more manageable product makes record keeping easier and predictable.  Any time a drastic change in feed, medication, pig size, or climate, a sample should be taken to assure the use of the proper polymer.
