Urbana,OH This municipality has a 2.0 meter Ashbrook-Simon-Hartley BFP which operates part of the year as a gravity belt thinkener, and the remainder of the year as a belt filter press. At the time of installation, 8 trials were run on the existing installation, followed by 8 trials after installing the RapidFloc (all in thickener mode). Results of the study follow:
