The
Deskins Quick-Dry Filtration Process will properly complete
liquid-solid separation and non-mechanical drying.
As the filter is poured, the liquid moves down through the filter and
the solid remains on top. Before the end of the pour, the solid
will begin to dewater to the point of cracking.
After the biosolid has set on the filter for 3 to 7 days, the biosolid
will be 40% to 60% dry depending upon the climate and season.
Once the biosolid is gathered from the filter, it can have many post
separation processes applied depending upon the desired
product.
You now have a dry dirt product compared to a lot of water.
The components for the
Deskins Quick-Dry Filtration Process make liquid-solid separation
easy. The RapidFloc Mixer System
creates activated polymer, thoroughly and gently mixes (portable
unit) influent liquid until the liquid and solid streams are merely
flowing together to the filter. Once at the filter, the two
streams separate rapidly and begin to Quick-Dry. The AquaTrac
Retrieval Machinery is specifically designed to not damage the
filter. The AquaTrac 300 Articulated Loader (not pictured)
cleans the top of the filter without disturbing the top media at a
rate of 3,500 square feet per hour with one person. The AquaTrac
100 is a 100% Complete Retrieval System .
Clearing up to 7,000 square feet per hour with one person without
disturbing or collecting the top media, as well as preparing the
filter for the next application. The AquaTrac 200 works together
with AquaTrac Articulated Dumpers to clear
over 44,000 square feet per hour with three people.
